Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), as one of the widely used special engineering plastics worldwide, was often used in the past to manufacture automotive functional components, transformer, choke and relay frames and housings in the electronics industry, integrated circuit carriers, housings, structural components, wear-resistant parts and sealing materials in the mechanical industry. It exhibits good performance advantages in mechanical strength, thermal stability, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, and flame retardancy. However, pure PPS resin also has performance defects such as high brittleness and insufficient toughness.
